After the recent openings of Hyatt Centric Guatemala City and Hyatt Centric Montevideo in Uruguay, Hyatt Hotels Corp. entered into a franchise agreement with Talbot Hotels S.A. for two hotels in Lima, Peru and Santiago, Chile. These hotels will mark the introduction of the brand in Peru and Chile.

Latin American Growth

Expected to open in January 2018, the Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima will feature 254 guestrooms, lush landscaping and wide-open plazas. The hotel will be located on Avenida Basadre—in the heart of the San Isidro municipality—surrounded by art galleries and high-end retail boutiques.

Slated to open in February 2018, the Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago will feature 166 guestrooms and close access to nearby restaurants, shopping centers and banks. The hotel will be located in Santiago’s financial district, known as Sanhattan.

“Santiago and Lima are two of the main gateway cities in Latin America, and we are confident Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima and Hyatt Centric Las Condes Santiago will deliver on the brand’s commitment to put guests in the middle of the action and inspire them to explore these dynamic capital cities,” said George Vizer, vice president of franchise operations at Hyatt, in prepared remarks. “We are excited about this growth momentum as the Hyatt Centric brand continues to expand its brand presence in Latin America.”
