Hyatt Place Lands in Germany
The Frankfurt Airport hotel joins the flag’s five other locations across Europe, which include two London-area properties, two in Armenia and one in Holland.
Hyatt Hotels Corp. has opened a Hyatt Place near Frankfurt Airport, marking the flag’s debut in Germany. The 4-star hotel is the brand’s sixth location in Europe, following two properties in the London area, two in Armenia and one near Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
Located at 4 De Saint-Exupéry St., within the Gateway Gardens business quarter, the 312-key hotel is within walking distance of Frankfurt Airport and a 15-minute train ride away from the city center. Situated at the intersection of Germany’s highways 3 and 5, the property also offers convenient access to other cities in the Rhine-Main region, including Mainz and Wiesbaden.

In mid-2017, Hyatt unveiled an expansion project for two of its brands—Hyatt Place and Hyatt House—with plans to open more than 50 properties throughout the year. On top of the six European hotels, there are currently more than 270 Hyatt Place properties across the U.S. and Canada, 13 in the Caribbean and Latin America, 16 across Asia, three in Africa and the Middle East, and one in Australia.
