Hyatt Place Washington D.C./National Mall Welcomes First Guests
A new 214-key Hyatt Place hotel opened four blocks from the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

Hyatt Place Washington D.C./National Mall has celebrated its official opening in the nation’s capital.
The 214-key hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s design, casual atmosphere and practical amenities, including free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings. The property is owned by locally-based E Street Development Group LLC, a joint venture led by CityPartners and Potomac Investment Properties, and operated by Arlington, Va.-based Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
Located just four blocks from the National Mall, the new hotel offers guests easy access to national landmarks, such as the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the World War II and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorials, the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, and the Holocaust Museum. Numerous government agencies and businesses are also situated in close proximity to the property, including NASA, Department of Energy, and the Federal Aviation Administration. The hotel is also a convenient 10-minute drive from Reagan National Airport.
In addition to 214 guestrooms, Hyatt Place Washington D.C./National Mall offers an outdoor salt-water pool, 24-hour fitness center, rooftop bar and lounge, and nearly 4,000 square feet of flexible, high-tech meeting/function space.
