Hyundai Capital Expands in SoCal

The firm has just moved into an additional 30,446 square feet of space at The Michelson, a 533,000-square-foot office tower in the city of Irvine.

Hyundai Capital America is in growth mode. The firm has just expanded into an additional 30,446 square feet of space at The Michelson, a 533,000-square-foot office tower in Irvine, Calif.

The expansion brings Hyundai to a total of 96,443 square feet on floors 17 through 20. The tower is located at 3161 Michelson Drive at the southeast corner of Jamboree Road and the 405 Freeway.

Approximately 80 percent leased to tenants including Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., Bryan Cave, Gibson Dunn, Greenberg Taurig and Jones Day, the 19-story tower features views of the Pacific Ocean as well as a sky garden.

Hyundai Capital America provides consumer vehicle financing as well as dealer inventory and facility financing services for Hyundai dealers in the United States, along with serving consumers and dealers. Formerly known as Hyundai Motor Finance Co., the firm was founded in 1989. It is based in Irvine.
