Industrious Opens 2nd Charlotte Location
The flexible space operator selected a recently reimagined warehouse in the North of Davidson neighborhood as the setting of its new office space.
Asana Partners has welcomed Industrious at 436 E. 36th St., a recently renovated and converted property in Charlotte, N.C. The coworking space operator will take occupancy of the entire 20,000-square-foot building by the first quarter of 2020. The new location, dubbed Industrious NoDa, followed shortly in the steps of the company’s first location in the metro, Industrious Uptown.
Asana Partners purchased the former warehouse in April 2018 and transformed it for office use. Amenities include conference rooms, common spaces, phone rooms, a wellness room, as well as daily craft coffee, artisanal pastries and afternoon snacks.
The building is located in the city’s North of Davidson neighborhood, close to a wide array of entertainment options, art galleries and music venues, including the Neighborhood Theatre and the Evening Muse. Eateries, cafes, craft breweries, banks and farmers’ markets are all within walking distance. Various bus stations and a light rail station provide easy transportation throughout the area.
Although a new player in the coworking game, Charlotte has rapidly diversified the sector’s tenant roster. As a result, it currently boasts a blooming office subsector, which includes Hygge, Advent Coworking and, most recently, Serendipity Labs, which entered the market last summer.
