PortlandInnSight Hotel Management Group recently announced that it was selected to manage the first Westin-branded hotel in Bend, Ore. Located on the banks of the Deschutes River, the hotel is set for completion in spring 2018, according to The Register Guard.

The 100-key Element by Westin Bend will feature authentic dining and beverage options, as well as upscale amenities such as a saline pool, 24-hour fitness studio, fully equipped kitchens, free Wi-Fi, keyless check-in, as well bicycles for guests to borrow. The hotel will also host evening receptions and a weekly barbecue on the patio. Located on the banks of the Deschutes River, the new hotel will combine modern design with eco-friendly elements, in order to pursue eco certification.

The hotel was originally developed by Sycan B Corp as part of a larger project that was acquired in January by 1526 NWW LLC, a frequent InnSight business partner. The current owner’s management agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide ended in September, right before Starwood’s merger with Marriott International.
