Following a significant drop in U.S. investment volume from $134.6 billion in fourth-quarter 2016 to $102.7 billion in first-quarter 2017, activity has been steadily picking up throughout this year. While investment volume ended the second quarter at $106.1 billion, the third quarter saw an increase in volume to $113.2 billion, according to Real Capital Analytics data.
