Liberty Property Trust is pouring $1 billion into The Camden Waterfront project, which will include 1.2 million square feet of office space, a 180-key hotel with a full-service restaurant, a 176-unit residential building and an expanded and improved waterfront park.
Anne Cummins, vice president of leasing and development at the company, who won a CREW Impact award for economic and community improvement for the project, talks about how it came together, how the Camden, N.J., waterfront could be the next Jersey City, and what’s next for the area.
