Jack Howard Moves Up at CBRE

He will take on his new role as executive vice president of the firm’s National Loan & Portfolio Sale Advisors branch, after serving for more than 12 years in various positions within the company.

Following its promotion of Silvio Petriello to vice chairman of advisory and transaction services, CBRE has appointed Jack Howard to executive vice president of the firm’s National Loan & Portfolio Sale Advisors branch in its New York office. In this senior leadership position, Howard will be responsible for the development and implementation of sales strategies and capital markets, staff supervision, institutional contract liaising, negotiation with buyers and sellers, and related ancillary advisory functions. Additionally, he will be in charge of the valuation and underwriting portion of assignments, and will direct the execution of marketing efforts. 

Jack is widely known and respected throughout the industry as an expert in his field and is extremely well regarded by his clients,” CBRE New York Tri-State Executive Managing Director Kyle Schoppmann said in a prepared statement.

Industry veteran

The newly appointed executive has climbed the ladder after being with CBRE for more than 12 years, having occupied different leadership roles such as senior vice president of the firm’s National Loan & Portfolio Sale Advisors division, where he was in charge of sales and marketing of large, national portfolios of commercial real estate and mortgage loans, mostly on behalf of financial institutions and private equity firms. Howard was also a vice president between 2006 and 2013, and a senior financial analyst. He started his career as a financial analyst at Cushman & Wakefield in 2003.

Howard holds a B.A. from Clemson University and an M.A. in real estate from Baruch College.
