JLL has brokered a new 2,846-square-foot lease with Taco Bell, which will introduce the first “Cantina” concept at the Plaza on University, a student housing community in Orlando, Fla. JLL Associate Brandon Delanois represented the landlord in the negotiations.
The Taco Bell Cantina features shareable menu items and digital screens, while the high-end interior finishes include polished wood and exposed brick.
“Taco Bell Cantina is a great example of a brand evolving to cater to today’s millennial tastes and preferences,” said Delanois in prepared remarks. “When you factor in all the strengths of The Plaza on University’s location—the volume of employees at nearby office parks, the number of single-family neighborhoods in the vicinity, the exceptional vehicular traffic passing through the intersection of University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail each day, and its proximity to the nation’s second-largest university—there is no better space for this type of concept in the Orlando market.”
The University of Central Florida is located nearby. Both North Alafaya Trail and Florida State Road 434 are easily accessible from the property.
