Working on behalf of Jim Aubuchon, JLL brokered the sale of a 9,380 square feet asset in Rockwall, Texas. Shango Ko, owner of several martial arts facilities, acquired the two-story building.
The former Mellow Mushroom site occupies 1.4 acres and features a private dining room. The property is located at 550 E. Interstate 30, about 20 miles east of Dallas, adjacent to Logan’s Roadhouse, Taco Cabana and Hampton Inn Dallas-Rockwall.
JLL Vice President Andrew Wiley and Senior Associate Cole Burdette negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. Pacific Century Realty’s Alfred Goh represented the buyer.
“Rockwall County is one of the fastest growing areas in North Texas,” Wiley said in a prepared statement.
The deal comes less than a month after TRC Capital Partners announced the sale of Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront, a 231-key Rockwall hotel situated less than two miles from the former Mellow Mushroom property.
