Katie Coppins, Trinity Partners’ former director of office leasing in Raleigh, N.C., has joined JLL as senior vice president of brokerage. In her new role, she will be handling tenant representation and business development in the Triangle, out of the company’s Raleigh office.

Coppins has been in the industry for roughly 15 years. Prior to her tenure at Trinity Partners, she was first vice president of brokerage services with CBRE Washington, D.C., for three years. She also spent a decade with real estate services company Akridge, where she worked on behalf of office and retail owners.

JLL’s new senior vice president is a member of Triangle Area Office Building Association and Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women. Before relocating to the Triangle, she served as president of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington. Coppins has a B.A. in public relations and political science from Gonzaga University.

In June, JLL welcomed Gregory Ix as the firm’s senior vice president of retail for the Carolinas. Ix is based in the company’s Charlotte, N.C., office.
