JLL has added Gregory Ix as the firm’s senior vice president of retail for the Carolinas. With more than 25 years of experience, Ix will be based in the company’s Charlotte, N.C., office. He will be in charge of the firm’s retail growth strategy and business development in the Carolinas.

Prior to joining JLL, Ix worked for Kimco Realty Corp., where he served in several roles for more than two decades. Most recently, he was vice president of the company’s southern region. Previously, he managed a team that marketed and leased more than 200 retail properties, as vice president of leasing for the firm’s southeast area. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
At the end of last year, JLL also expanded its South Florida team. Ryan Nunes joined the company as executive vice president of the firm’s Broward and Palm Beach offices.
