Jones Lang LaSalle has secured a 20-year, full-building lease for the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Phoenix Regional Headquarters office in Phoenix. The newly constructed building will be open for business in March 2012, totaling 210,202 square feet of rentable space.

Located at the southeast corner of 7th Street and Deer Valley Road, the building will be owned by Ryan Cos. USA. The lease was managed and awarded by Debbie Orkowski of the GSA Leasing Contracting office, while JLL employees Jessica Kokish, Suzanne Drake, Chris Roth and Dan Reidy represented the government.

Kokish said that JLL guided the government through a comprehensive process that begin with securing the land site and finding a developer. The GSA’s lease portfolio encompasses more than 8,000 properties and totals approximately 184 million square feet.

Since 2005, JLL has worked with the GSA to procure more than 750 leases. The firm is currently working on more than 600 procurements for federal civilian departments and agencies.
