Kimpton Taps New Brand Director Across the Pond
Jacque Riley will contribute to the brand's ongoing development in Europe.
London—InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Jacque Riley as Brand Director for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Europe. She is the first Kimpton member to join the IHG team and will contribute to the company’s efforts to develop the brand in Europe.
“Following IHG’s recent launch announcement of Kimpton hotels in Amsterdam and Paris, Jacque’s appointment is key to delivering the launch of the brand across the region and supporting our wider business strategy. Our focus is to maintain all that makes the Kimpton brand special and loved, whilst bringing the brand to life in new markets, languages and cultures; Jacque, with her depth of experience, is the perfect person to help deliver this,” Tom Rowntree, vice president of brand management, luxury and boutique brands in Europe, said in prepared remarks.
Riley will step into the newly created role after three years with Kimpton as director of communications for eastern U.S., Washington, D.C., and director of restaurants PR in Washington, D.C., and Virginia. Prior to that, she had her own PR company in Columbia, S.C.
