Lat Purser Adds Mixed-Use to SC Portfolio
The 25,300 square-foot Bridgewater Center features both retail and office space. The Mount Pleasant property is home to tenants such as Edward Jones and Ameris Bank.

Lat Purser & Associates Inc. (LPA) has added Bridgewater Center in Mount Pleasant, S.C. to its Charleston-area portfolio. The building comprises 25,300 square feet of retail and office space.
Located at 966 Houston Northcutt Blvd., less than a mile away from another LPA-owned office building on Coleman Boulevard, Bridgewater Center is near numerous office buildings, hotels, restaurants and various residential properties. Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Ameris Bank, Edward Jones and Family Vision Care are among the building’s main tenants.
“We have been investing in Charleston for decades and continue to see it as a highly desirable market. Bridgewater Center is a terrific example of our investment strategy: growth markets with high barriers to entry,” said LPA Vice President of Acquisitions Lat Purser, in prepared remarks.
The neighborhood center is the latest LPA acquisition in the Charleston area. The company also owns Ashley Oaks Plaza in West Ashley, Daniel Island Town Center on Daniel Island, Pottery Barn on King Street and the Liberty Center office building on Meeting Street in downtown Charleston.
