LBA Logistics Completes Suburban Chicago Industrial Park

LBA Logistics has completed construction on its industrial campus in Melrose Park, Ill. Known as Industry Center at Melrose Park, the new development features a total 651,617 square feet spread across three industrial facilities.

McShane Construction Co. along with design-build partner Harris Architects oversaw design-build construction and architectural services for the three industrial buildings. Build-outs also conducted by McShane include interior developments for a portable storage and moving company, a package delivery and logistics tenant and a transportation and railroad company.

According to CommercialEdge data, JLL headed up leasing for the industrial project.

Earlier this year, LBA Logistics leased a 99,638-square-foot industrial property to TAE Technologies. The Orange County asset is a Class A building expected to complete in April 2023.

Amenities and square footage

Industry Center at Melrose Park covers a 44-acre site. Located at 2075, 2065 and 2057 George St., each building features 38-foot clear heights. Each structure’s amenities also include:

  • Building 1—130,200 square feet featuring 38 truck docks, 44 trailer stalls, 151 car parking spaces and two drive-in doors
  • Building 2—142 trailer stalls, 244 car parking spaces, 34 truck doors that can expand to 71 and two drive-in doors across 350,248 square feet.
  • Building 3—171,169 square feet including 204 parking spaces, 64 trailer stalls, 18 truck docks that expand to 43 and three 20-foot by 20-foot drive-in doors.
