There’s some new motion in the Miami office market. Blanca Commercial Real Estate, the exclusive leasing agent for the Class A 1450 Brickell Office Tower, has wrapped up 200,000 square feet of leasing with 120,000 square feet recently inked.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The tower’s new tenants include private investment firm HIG Capital, Spanish financial institution Bancaja, and Kempler Energy, which is relocating from New York City. Additional leases were signed with law firm Ratzan & Rubrio, Agri Commodity Trade, Preston II, global commodities trader Yntegra and another undisclosed tenant.

Blanca itself is also relocating to the tower.

In September 2009, law firm Bilzin Sumberg announced that it would relocate from the Wachovia Financial Center to 80,000 square feet at the tower.

Blanca president and CEO Tere Blanca said the building has “the most convenient and accessible location” in the downtown area, as well as high building infrastructure and finish standards.

Blanca and Danet Linares represented the landlord, 1450 Brickell, L.L.C. and Rilea Group.

The tower rises 35 stories and encompasses 582,817 square feet, including both commercial office and retail space. It is pre-certified for an LEED Gold rating.
