Lee & Associates Opens New DC, Northern Virginia Office
The brokerage company hired Josh Simon as president and Pierce Kruetzer as principal for the newly opened regional branch, where they will oversee growing the team.
After appointing George Stinson as senior vice president in the Cincinnati office this March, Lee & Associates has hired Josh Simon as president of the newly opened Washington, D.C./Northern Virginia regional branch, with Pierce Kruetzer joining the team as principal. The brokerage company announced last December its intent to open an office in the region within two years. Simon and Kruetzer will be responsible for middle-market investment sales and landlord leasing in the metro’s downtown, as well as growing the team.
Simon has more than 12 years of experience in diversified commercial real estate brokerage. Previously, he was a principal at NAI KLNB, where he focused on investment sales ranging from $2 million to $40 million and specialized in ground-up development transactions and conversions of existing buildings. He has a B.A. in English from Miami University.
Kruetzer joined Lee & Associates from the same company as Simon, where together they sold or were under contract for transactions worth more than $200 million. Before that, he was a senior associate at Transwestern. He has a B.A. in History from Ohio University.
The new branch intends to implement an aggressive growth strategy, focusing on business opportunities and experienced professional with office landlord and tenant representation, retail and industrial leasing, debt services and investment sales. The company aims to hire eight to 10 brokers in a relatively short time period, according to Simon. The branch is currently utilizing the resources from the Maryland offices and, until identifying the ideal location, will be located within a shared office at the Wharf.
