Level 3 Construction has finished the $4 million renovation of Holiday Inn Express West Los Angeles, a 78-key hotel in Los Angeles. The company completed the remodeling to meet the brand’s new design, Formula Blue, as well as to enhance the interior and exterior of the asset.
Located at 11250 Santa Monica Blvd., the hotel is at the intersection of major roads such as State Route 2 and Interstate 40S, within eight miles of Los Angeles International Airport and nine miles of downtown Los Angeles. The hotel is also close to several recreational and entertainment venues, including Venice Beach, Century City Shopping Center, Marina Del Rey and Santa Monica Beach.
Improvements of Holiday Inn Express include the transformation of the open-air atrium. The space was remodeled as an enclosed courtyard and incorporates a breakfast buffet area, kitchen and public restrooms. Additional upgrades include new amenities, such as a rooftop deck with lounge area and landscaping. The hotel’s lobby area was upgraded as well, with a new registration desk, lounge area and an expanded fitness center. The guestrooms received new finishes, bathroom tub/shower surrounds, vanities and back-lit mirrors.
“Level 3 Construction’s ability to self-perform our work in the guestrooms and efficiently manage the sizable work on larger projects with expansions or additions, gives us the unique advantage that these types of projects demand and benefit from,” said John Gonzalez, executive at Level 3 Construction, in a prepared statement.
