Liberty Investment Properties Opens Storage Space in Tampa
The self-storage property is located near the Tampa International Airport and five miles from the University of Tampa. Extra Space Storage is the manager of the facility.

Liberty Investment Properties Inc., together with private investors, has opened a 550-unit self-storage facility in Tampa. Extra Space Storage, a self-storage REIT, is the manager and the property is branded under the same name.
The facility occupies 1.2 acres at 4907 W. Cypress St. in the Westshore Business District, alongside State Route 60, roughly three miles from Tampa International Airport and five miles from the University of Tampa. The facility comprises climate-controlled units ranging in size from 25 to 300 square feet. Amenities include electronic and secure access.
“We are extremely intentional about the location in which we are developing new storage product,” said Adam Mikkelson, president of Liberty Investment Properties, in prepared remarks. “Our unique understanding of demand and providing a quality product for our customers are top priorities for our organization.”
A joint venture of Liberty Investment Properties and Osprey Capital recently opened a 92,000-square-foot self-storage facility in St. Petersburg.
