Empire State Realty Trust has closed a sixth lease expansion with LinkedIn, which will now occupy an additional 30,165 square feet on the 27th floor of Manhattan’s Empire State Building.

The company will now lease a total of 312,947 square feet on floors three and 22 to 28. Located at 350 Fifth Ave., the 2.8 million-square-foot high-rise was constructed in 1931 and has 102 stories. Building amenities include a 15,000-square-foot fitness center, tenant-only conference center and nine dining options that include Juice Press, Sushi-teria, Chopt, STATE Grill and Bar, Tacombi and two Starbucks. The property was last renovated in 2011 and is LEED Gold certified. The Empire State Building also offers 127,256 square feet of retail on the first floor and mezzanine level.

“We are proud to partner with LinkedIn as they continue to grow at the Empire State Building,” said Thomas Durels, executive vice president, Real Estate for ESRT, in a prepared statement. “We have created a superior work environment that enhances tenant’s results through better employee productivity, talent recruitment and retention. The Empire State Building offers a unique tenant experience, an Urban Campus, unlike anywhere in Manhattan …”

CBRE’s Vice Chairman Sacha Zarba and Senior Vice President Lauren Crowley represented LinkedIn in the deal. ESRT was represented in-house by Senior Vice President Ryan Kass and Assistant Vice President Shanae Ursini.

In April, Empire State Realty Trust signed Nestlé’s Nespresso brand to a 41,800-square-foot full-floor lease at 111 W. 33rd St., a Class A office building in Manhattan.
