L&L Holding Co. Appoints New SVP

David Orowitz stepped in as the firm’s senior vice president of development, after serving eight years as senior vice president of acquisitions and development within the Trump Organization.

L&L Holding Co. adds a new name to the company’s recent hires, with David Orowitz as the latest addition. He was named Senior Vice President of Development, responsible for the firm’s development, redevelopment and acquisitions strategies within the Manhattan area. Orowitz will be based in L&L’s New York City office and he will report to Chairman & CEO David Levinson and President & Chief Investment Officer Robert Lapidus.

Prior to joining L&L Holding Co., he served for eight years as senior vice president, acquisitions and development within The Trump Organization, where he oversaw investments for its portfolio of hotel, residential, retail and mixed-use properties. Notable projects include the redevelopment of the current Trump International Hotel Washington D.C. and the acquisition of Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami. Between 2000 and 2006, he was vice president at Kaiser Associates, responsible for the firm’s sales strategy. The recently appointed executive has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
