New Orleans-Area Fremaux Town Center Welcomes New Tenants

Women’s clothing boutique Exit 16 and Rock N Roll Sushi are joining the mixed-use development's roster.

New OrleansStirling Properties and CBL & Associates Properties Inc. have announced new tenants joining Phase II of Fremaux Town Center in Slidell, La. Stirling Properties’ Ryan Pécot, senior retail leasing & development executive, secured both tenants.

Women’s clothing boutique Exit 16 has already opened business at the shopping center, occupying 2,223 square feet. This marks the second retail location of the Mississippi-based firm. Rock N Roll Sushi has leased 2,040 square feet and is slated for opening early next year. This is the second opening of the franchise in the Louisiana area.

The already announced Albasha Greek & Lebanese Restaurant is still underway to open mid-November and Smoothie King, Pacific Dental Services and Chipotle Mexican Grill are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2017.

Fremaux Town Center is a 350-acre mixed-use development located at the southwest corner of Interstate 10 and Fremaux Avenue and is anchored by Dillard’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s and Best Buy. The property offers 635,000 square feet of retail and dining options. In addition, the asset includes Springs at Fremaux Town Center, a 296-unit luxury apartment community.

The center was 97 percent leased at the time of the deal with the tenant roster including Claire’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Dillard’s, Felipe’s Mexican Taqueria, Five Below, Five Guys and Forever 21. The property is owned, managed and leased by a joint venture consisting of CBL & Associates Properties Inc. and Stirling Properties.
