Reon Roski will be the third generation of her family to take a leadership role at Majestic Realty, the firm announced Tuesday.

As CEO, Roski will join forces with her father, Edward Roski Jr., to lead a firm with an 87 million-square-foot nationwide footprint. In addition to its industrial development company, the largest private developer of business parks in the U.S., the City of Industry, Calif.- based firm includes property management, construction and retail affiliates.

Reon Roski’s association with Majestic dates back a quarter century. She joined the company’s board of directors in 1997 and became senior counsel in 2007. That year she was appointed a managing director at the company.

A graduate of the University of Southern California and Loyola Law School, Roski specialized in real estate transaction law as an attorney for Glaser Weil and Allen Matkins. On average, she handled more than 18 million square feet of deals annually.

Majestic was founded in 1948 by Edward Roski Sr., grandfather of Reon Roski. In 1966, Edward Roski Jr. joined the company and currently serves as its president and chairman. He is also co-owner of the Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and Crypto.com Arena, home of the two teams.

Majestic ranked ninth on CPE’s 2021 list of top real estate owners. The firm’s current major developments include Landmark at Otay, a planned 67-acre, 1.1 million-square-foot industrial project in the Otay Mesa submarket of San Diego. Also in the works is Majestic Silver Creek Business Park, which will eventually encompass 6.5 million square feet in Fort Worth, Texas.
