The Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort & Spa will reopen this month after a $60 million interior and exterior renovation. The 11-story, 310-key beachfront resort on Marco Island, Fla. is owned by Olshan Properties.
Spread across 10.5 acres on a barrier island off the southwest coast of Florida, the 33-year-old resort will unveil a new modern design aesthetic that includes updates to its reception area, concierge and bell desks, swimming pool area and restaurant. Guest rooms were updated with new furnishings and larger bathrooms and every room is equipped with smartphone charging stations.
The AAA Four Diamond award-winning hotel features a Premier Preferred Collection, a mix of one-, two- and three-room suites with optional connecting rooms and spa-style bathrooms. The resort has expanded and upgrades its 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including its 5,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Upgrades to the Spa at the Hilton Marco Island, which features ten treatment rooms and a whirlpool, will be completed by the end of 2018 and will include new fitness equipment.
Last month, SunTrust Commercial Real Estate of Atlanta arranged $50 million in financing for Key International’s acquisition of a dual-branded Marriott hotel in nearby Clearwater Beach, Fla.
