Matthews Real Estate Expands Presence in Northern California

Matthews Real Estate Investment Services has expanded its presence in California with the opening of a new office in Walnut Creek. The company occupied Suite 202, approximately 1,500 square feet, in The Atrium on Broadway, a 107,000-square-foot Class A office building owned by The Succession Corp.

Located at 1981 N. Broadway, The Atrium on Broadway occupies 2 acres just off the Ygnacio Valley Road near Interstate 680, approximately 17 miles from downtown Oakland and 25 miles from downtown San Francisco. The multi-tenant, Class A building was constructed in 1981 and features controlled access and more than 380 above ground and subterranean parking spaces.

“The Walnut Creek location was strategically chosen to ensure that our current clients in the Bay Area are fully supported,” Matthews’ Chief Operating Officer Duerk Brewer told Commercial Property Executive. “Not only will it allow us to better support our existing clients, but it will also enable us to attract more business in San Francisco and the surrounding cities.”

Matthews has recently expanded its presence in Georgia and Texas and plans to open a new office in Nashville, Tenn., later this year.
