Meet CPE’s 2017 Stars to Watch: Tom Kubis, Savills Studley

Age: 31

On the job: Managing Director, Savills Studley; tenant representation specialist

Primary territory: Metro Atlanta

With company since: 2012; promoted to managing director in 2016.

Why he’s a star:  One of only 25 professionals selected from the company’s 30,000-member global workforce to participate in an elite training program.  Regularly ranks among the office’s top producers. Exceeds the expectations of peers and colleagues. Created a national group to share best practices.

Secrets to success: Finds ways to overcome challenges and leads by example.

Good works:  Supports It’s the Journey, an Atlanta-based non-profit that supports breast cancer education, screening, early detection, support services, and continuing care for Georgians. Kubis participates in the organization’s annual fundraising walk and has developed personal relationships with its senior executives, who asked Kubis to assist with the relocation of its headquarters s in Sandy Springs.  Tom is also a volunteer with the Georgia Advocacy Office, a nonprofit agency which works to secure the rights of vulnerable individuals in Georgia labeled as disabled or mentally ill.
