Jim Savard stepped up as the company’s newest executive vice president of leasing, after occupying various executive roles at Core Realty and JLL.

Metro Commercial Real Estate has selected Jim Savard as its newest executive vice president of leasing. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s landlord business line.

Savard has 20 years of commercial real estate experience which includes commercial transactions, advisory, strategic planning, development, acquisition and disposition services for corporate clients, institutional landlords and real estate developers. Throughout his career, he contributed to transactions totaling more than 22 million square feet.

We are confident that Jim’s skills and industry expertise will aid in leading Metro’s expansion in the Landlord sector of the business,” Metro Commercial President & CEO Tom Londres said in a prepared statement.

Prior to joining the firm, Savard served as executive vice president of transactions and development at Core Realty. His other roles included chief operating officer for O’Neill Properties and executive vice president at JLL Philadelphia. He started his career at The Galbreath Co.

The recently appointed executive received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and holds a B.F.A in design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
