Midcoast Properties Facilitates SC Storage Sale
The brokerage company represented the seller, a private owner based in South Carolina, in the transaction. The 382-unit property is located in Columbia.

Midcoast Properties Inc. has arranged the sale of Storage Express, a 46,000-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Columbia, S.C. The company worked on behalf of the seller, a South Carolina-based private owner.
Located at 3400 Broad River Road, the storage facility offers access to interstates 20 and 26 and is within nine miles of downtown Columbia. Approximately 116,000 people live within a five-mile radius, with an average income of nearly $44,000, Yardi Matrix data shows. Built in 2008, the three-building property occupies 3.7 acres and comprises 382 climate- and non-climate-controlled units, ranging in size from 25 to 300 square feet. Features of the asset include digital keypad entry, security cameras, perimeter fencing and truck rental options.
Dale Eisenman of Midcoast Properties represented the seller and had the listing to market the self-storage property. In November 2017, the company arranged the sale of a 20,000-square-foot facility located in North Carolina.
