88 Orchard

The Missner Group and First Industrial have begun construction on 88 Orchard, an industrial development in Aurora, Ill. The project will be designed to accommodate three tenants. Construction is scheduled for completion by spring 2019.

Located at 1998 Melissa Lane, along the far west side of the Orchard Road Corridor, the property will comprise 173,000 square feet on a 9.7-acre site. Asset features will include office-to-suit, 22 loading docks, an ESFR fire safety system, a 12-trailer parking lot, 32-foot clear heights, drive-in doors, 174 parking spaces and all new landscaping. Cornerstone Architects will design the development, which will include a facade with five, two-story glass entrances, a faux entry feature and large windows.

The Missner Group’s Project Manager Kent Nepras and Senior Project Superintendent Steve Bulger will lead the construction. Colliers International’s Principal Brian Kling and Associate Reed Adler will serve as brokers for the building.

The Missner Group has been busy within the Chicago area in the 12 months. Last June, the company invested in Buffalo Grove’s Corporate Grove Business Park after acquiring a 121,000-square-foot industrial building.
