Moinian Signs New Tenant at Manhattan Office Tower
A talent agency will occupy 21,000 square feet at the 753,713-square-foot building in Midtown.

Agency for the Performing Arts has signed a 21,000-square-foot lease at 3 Columbus Circle, a 753,713-square-foot office tower in Midtown Manhattan. Starting in December, APA will occupy almost the entire 21st floor at The Moinian Group’s property, which was refinanced with a $595 million loan in March.
The talent agency will relocate from 135 W 50th St., where it had occupied 28,375 square feet subleased from AllianceBernstein, per Yardi Matrix data. Savills assisted the tenant, while JLL represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Originally completed in 1927 atop the existing Colonnade Building, the office tower was completely redeveloped in 2011. The building includes more than 39,000 square feet of retail and features floorplans ranging from 10,960 to 41,202 square feet. Young & Rubicam is the anchor tenant at the property, occupying almost 374,000 square feet, according to Yardi Matrix data. Other tenants include Emerge212, Nordstrom and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
The 26-story tower occupies a full block at 3 Columbus Circle on Broadway, one block southwest of Central Park. The Manhattan property is close to public transportation and the immediate area offers numerous shopping, dining and hotel options.
Savills Executive Managing Director Scott Weiss and Vice Chairman Erik Schmall brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant. JLL Managing Director Jonathan Fanuzzi and Senior Vice President Harley Dalton represented Moinian in the lease.
