Monocle Vision Opens Coworking Location in Brooklyn
The technology company will take up 2,000 square feet in a recently completed mixed-use property.
All Year Management has signed a 10-year, 2,000-square-foot lease with technology company Monocle Vision at 268 Metropolitan Ave. in Brooklyn. The tenant will use the space as a coworking hub for high-tech companies and ventures.
The five-story mixed-use property was completed in 2018 and it encompasses 24 studios, one- to four-bedroom units and 4,000 square feet of commercial space. Property features include a virtual doorman, bike storage, communal roof deck, controlled access, security system and sprinkler system.
Located in Williamsburg, the asset is close to a wide array of retailers, eateries such as Extra Fancy and Butcher’s Daughter, cafes and entertainment options. The nearby L train at Bedford Avenue and the G train at Metropolitan and Union Avenue provide easy transportation throughout the area, while Interstate 278 is two blocks away.
A Tri State Commercial Realty team led by Associate Moshe Akiva represented both parties in the lease deal. In the last year, Brooklyn has become an attractive destination for tech companies and flexible office space providers alike, not only due to its proximity to Manhattan but also because of its talent pool and lower rents.
