Following the $2.1 million sale of a 15,700-square-foot industrial flex property in Elmwood Park, N.J., at the end of last year, NAI James E. Hanson has facilitated the sale of a 2,800-square-foot freestanding industrial/flex building and 0.3 acres of land in Hackensack, N.J. NAI Hanson represented both the seller, Voorhis Associates, and the buyer, T&M Realty Associates.

Located at 62 Voorhis Lane, the property provides convenient access via routes 4, 17 and 46, The Garden State Parkway and interstates 80 and 95. The buyer intends to utilize the property to relocate its Greenland Landscaping business to Hackensack from Wayne, N.J. The asset includes 1,600 square feet of warehouse space and 1,200 square feet of office space. Additionally, the property features outdoor yard space, suitable for storing trucks or equipment.

“Continually decreasing vacancy rates along with sustained strong demand has made finding suitable commercial real estate space in Bergen County difficult. The buyer leapt at the opportunity to purchase a larger, more conveniently located property with significantly easier access points to several major highways,” said NAI Hanson Vice President Anthony Cassano, in prepared remarks. He worked on behalf of both the seller and the buyer in this deal.
