NAI Hiffman has added a new tenant at a 29,000-square-foot industrial property in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. The occupant is Sunbelt Rentals, one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America. It will replace ComEd at the new location at 3030 N. Tripp Ave. NAI Hiffman’s Senior Vice President Bruce Granger represented Sunbelt in the leasing process.

Significant Storage Area

Except for 2,000 square feet devoted to office space, the rest of the building is used as storage space. The facility has been recently renovated and features four interior docks and one drive-in door, high ceilings (17-34 feet), excellent loading capabilities and a 13-ton crane with a 92-feet clear span.

In addition, the site offers significant outside storage for the company’s equipment on a newly paved, lit and secured lot and a large parking area, accommodating more than 150 vehicles. The warehouse sits on a 2-acre lot and is close to the Interstate 90/94 Kennedy Expressway. It is also approximately 10 miles from Sunbelt Rental’s main office at 2311 S. Blue Island Ave. in Chicago.
