National Storage Affiliates Acquires KS Facility
The firm added 409 units to its portfolio. The property is located in Wichita, Kan., some 6 miles from downtown.

National Storage Affiliates has purchased Steelcreek Self-Storage, a 93,300-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Wichita, Kan. Bellomy & Co. arranged the transaction on behalf of a Dallas-based seller, also procuring the buyer.
Located at 1050 E. MacArthur Road, the facility is alongside Interstate 135, approximately 6 miles from downtown Wichita. The storage asset is situated near many apartment communities, including the 216-unit Emory Gardens and the 144-unit MacArthur’s Lake.
Constructed in 1977, the eight-building facility occupies 7.5 acres and comprises a total of 409 storage spaces, including drive-up, warehouse and parking units. Regular storage spaces range from 50 to 300 square feet. Additionally, the asset is gated and features security cameras. Other services include on-site management, 24-hour access and truck rental options.
Bellomy & Co.’s brokerage team included Principals Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson. Earlier this month, the team brokered the sale of a 405-unit self-storage facility in Summerville, S.C.
