Denver—Atlanta-based hotel management company Davidson Hotels & Resorts recently announced the addition of the 233-key Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station to its portfolio. The hotel, located near Coors Field and Union Station, will be built by Denver-based developer Focus Property Group. The new Garden Inn is scheduled to open in 2018.
“Davidson was the perfect choice for us as they have extensive experience with Hilton, as well as a highly successful background with urban properties,” Bahman Shafa, president of Focus Property Group, said in prepared remarks. “Davidson has been a tremendous collaborator with us as we’ve strived to develop something highly unique and noteworthy for the neighborhood and the city.”
Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station amenities include a heated indoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, more than 6,000 square feet of ballroom and meeting space and two levels of underground parking. Additionally, the hotel will feature a one-of-a-kind restaurant concept in the repurposed Hose Co., a fire station and one of the city’s oldest landmarks, which is adjoining the newly constructed hotel.
Located in the Union Station Neighborhood, the Hilton Garden Inn will be steps away from Denver’s Central Business District, the 16th St. Mall, Larimer Square, Denver Art Museum, Pepsi Center and the Colorado Convention Center.
