MiamiGadinsky Real Estate recently announced that it has signed three new retail tenants for a proposed retail component of the 12000 Biscayne Building. The building owners, a partnership between Brandon of B LLC and Gotham Associates L.P., hired Gadinsky Real Estate to manage the redevelopment and leasing of the building’s ground floor designated for the retail space.

Built in 1982, the eight-story and more than 146,000 square-foot building, which is currently entirely office space, is located on the southwest corner of Biscayne Blvd. and NE 121st Street. It provides easy access to Downtown Miami, as it is located midway between Miami’s Design District and Aventura.

Confirmed tenants for the 12,000-square-foot ground floor include a 2,040-square-foot Starbucks, a 1,251-square-foot European Wax Center and a 3,500-square-foot Mattress Firm, bringing the retail space to 60 percent occupancy. An additional 4,500 square feet remain available for lease, including 2,100 square feet designated for a fast-casual restaurant featuring and end-cap with drive-thru.
