Howell, Mich.—St. John Providence broke ground on its new 60,000-square-foot ambulatory care center in Howell. The $13.5 million outpatient facility will be the anchor of a new mixed-use campus developed in partnership with MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate LLC and scheduled for completion in May 2017.
MedCraft tapped Diekema Hamann for architectural and engineering services and CSM Group for construction works.
Located at the Latson Road exit on Interstate-96, the new ambulatory care center will employ specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, pulmonology, pediatrics, and diagnostic imaging. Outpatient rehabilitation and wound care services will also be available. A lab and a pharmacy will be included in the project as well.
“We’re also very proud to offer a convenient entry point to St. John Providence’s outstanding Centers of Excellence. Our physician experts in heart and cancer care, orthopedics, and the neurosciences are among the best in the Midwest, and we’re excited to make them more easily available to Livingston County communities. Our chief goal is to improve the health of Michigan families,” said Joseph Hurshe, president of Providence-Providence Park Hospital.
The development in Howell is the third Providence-Providence Park Hospital campus in the Greater Detroit Area.
