Omni Houston Hotel Completes $30M Renovation
The brand’s Uptown Houston location has undergone a transformation that includes redesigned and renovated spaces as well as new amenities.

Omni Houston Hotel has reopened after undergoing a $30 million renovation. The makeover of the 378-key asset of Omni Hotels & Resorts included modernization and space redesign as well as the addition of new amenities. The transformation places the hotel located in the city’s Uptown neighborhood in the luxury category.
Located at 4 Riverway, Omni Houston Hotel is within 2 miles of both the Uptown Park shopping center and The Galleria Mall. The asset is very close to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center and within 10 miles of Houston’s central business district.
Following upgrades, the hotel now includes floor‐to‐ceiling windows and open communal spaces, a whiskey lounge, high-end retail venues, lobby library with fireplace and restaurant. The property’s nightclub and spa have also underwent renovation. The meeting space on the first and second floors were redesigned and currently feature an additional 2,500 square feet of flexible space. Moreover, the the hotel now has two new conference areas with boardrooms and breakout space.
Earlier this year, Omni Hotels & Resorts opened a $300 million, 612-key hotel in Louisville, Ky. in a joint venture with Metro Louisville.
