Pacific Workplaces Expands Sacramento Coworking Footprint
Scheduled to open later this month, the new flex office space marks the company’s fourth location in the market.
Pacific Workplaces, a San Francisco-based coworking company, has unveiled plans for a new 11,590-square-foot flex office location in Sacramento, Calif., scheduled to open at the end of this month.
The company will occupy the fourth floor of a 110,000-square-foot office building owned by Friedman Investment Management, according to CommercialEdge data. Workplace Studio designed the space.
The new space will offer 40 coworking seats, 38 private offices, four meeting rooms, as well as phone booths and is situated next to balcony areas, offering an indoor-outdoor flow throughout the day, Mara Hauser, principal of Workplace Studio, commented in prepared remarks.
The coworking location will also include mailing services, lounge areas, high-speed internet, a wellness room and a business lounge. Zendrive, Trifecta, Subway and Roots Coffee Co. are among the tenants of the building.
Located at 428 J St. in downtown Sacramento, the property is within walking distance of Golden 1 Center and Old Sacramento Waterfront, as well as a variety of dining and entertainment options available nearby. Interstate 5 is less than half a mile away from the property.
The downtown space marks the company’s 18th coworking location in California and Nevada and its fourth coworking investment in Sacramento, Calif. The flex office market in California is on the rise, as just last month Downtown Works added more than 10,000 square feet of office space to its space in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego.
