The Woodmont Co. of Fort Worth, Texas, together with Northwest Contracting, has announced that Phase I of the Hay Creek Shops retail center in Bismarck, N.D. has reached completion.
Totaling 150,000 square feet, Phase I of the development was 100 percent pre-leased, and will officially open its doors to shoppers on October 24-25. The center’s three anchor tenants—Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Gordmans—are already open for business, with Michael’s and Ulta Beauty scheduled to debut by November 1st.
Upon completion, Hay Creek Shops will encompass more than 300,000 square feet of retail space on 33 acres. Located at 1451 E. LaSalle Drive, just off Highway 83, the center broke ground in the spring of 2014. Phase II of the project is already underway, with anticipated deliveries starting in the spring of 2016. Leasing activities for the property are handled by Grant Gary, president of brokerage services with The Woodmont Co.
“We have been extremely successful in securing high-profile tenants at Hay Creek Shops,” Stephen Coslik, Woodmont Co. chairman, said in a statement. “We created this property to be the retail destination of choice for customers throughout Bismarck and surrounding communities and these new tenants provide further testimony to the quality of the center and the strength of this location in this growing market.”
