Las Vegas—North Dakota developer Gary Tharaldson is developing a round of hotels in Las Vegas, as reported by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

The hotel mogul has revealed plans for a 169-key, six-story Hilton Garden Inn and a 157-key, six-story Homewood Suites on Dean Martin Drive. The hotel mogul also filed plans for a 113-key five-story TownePlace Suites and a 135-key five-story Home2 Suites at the Tropicana Avenue-Interstate 15 interchange.

The small, non-gaming projects will be located close to the Las Vegas Strip. Don Cape, director of real estate development for Tharaldson Hospitality, said that Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites are slated for completion by summer’s end 2017, with TownePlace Suites and Home2 Suites expected to open in the first quarter of 2018.

The projects follow the opening of the first new hotel in Las Vegas since last decade, a 131-key, four-story Residence Inn located roughly three miles south of the Strip.
