Dallas—PM Realty Group (PMRG), on behalf of Adeptus Health, recently announced the completion of First Texas Hospital. The new acute care hospital in Carrollton represents a significant milestone in the company’s portfolio of medical facility developments throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
First Texas Hospital totals 76,500 square feet and includes 50 inpatient beds, three Operating Rooms, an emergency department and an imaging department equipped with the latest technologies. The new facility is located at 1401 E. Trinity Mills Road.
“Although PMRG has developed multiple medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, cancer treatment facilities and other outpatient facilities, this is our company’s first acute care hospital development,” said in prepared remarks Peter Phillips, PMRG’s SVP of Development and Construction Services. “PMRG was able to successfully collaborate with Adeptus Health on the development of First Texas Hospital under an incredibly aggressive schedule of approximately eight months. Together, we met the expedited timeline while delivering the highest quality hospital to the community.”
The team for the First Texas Hospital project was comprised of developer PMRG, Ascension Group Architects, Bury Partners and Hill & Wilkinson Construction Group Ltd. as the general contractor. PMRG collaborated with Adeptus Health over the past two years, having developed 20 First Choice Emergency Rooms in the DFW Metroplex for Adeptus Health with another 10 to 12 of these facilities in various stages of construction and design.
