Public Storage Expands Nebraska Footprint
The company has added 3D SelfStorage, an 802-unit facility, to its Nebraska portfolio. Bellomy & Co. arranged the sale on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.

Public Storage has purchased 3D SelfStorage, a 122,070-net-rentable-square-foot, Class A facility in Elkhorn, Neb., for $11.6 million, according to Yardi Matrix. Bellomy & Co. represented the seller, an Omaha-based developer and procured the buyer. The property marks Public Storage’s second self-storage facility on the Omaha market.
Located at 20809 Cumberland Drive, the facility occupies 5.8 acres near State Route 6, roughly 13 miles west of Omaha. Nearly 91,000 people live within a five-mile radius, with an average household income of approximately $100,000.
The 11-building asset was completed in 2016 and offers 802 storage units, ranging in size between 25 and 360 square feet, according to Public Storage’s website. The facility offers climate-controlled indoor units and outdoor storage space with drive-up access. Other characteristics include a gate, parking and RV Parking, security cameras, 24-hour access and truck rental options.
