Quest Workspaces has opened a second coworking space in Coral Gables, Fla., at 2000 Ponce Business Center. The company has leased the fifth and sixth floor of the office building, adding 23,800 square feet to its portfolio. The addition is Quest’s fifth metro Miami location and now ties the company with WeWork for the most coworking locations in Miami-Dade County.

Located at 2000 Ponce de Leon Blvd., the business center is positioned in the heart of Coral Gables, surrounded by multiple banks, cafes and restaurants. The seven-story, 85,000-square-foot building is only 5 miles west of downtown Miami and Miami International Airport is about 4 miles away.

The 2000 Ponce coworking space offers various workspace options including customized private offices, board rooms, chat rooms, lounges, private balconies, rentable meeting rooms and 4,000 square feet of outdoor event space. All Quest locations include a café with unlimited tea and coffee, internet services, concierge and mail services, administrative services, security and cleaning.

Quest Workspaces opened its first South Florida space in 2010 and leased the first Coral Gables space at 2525 Ponce de Leon Blvd. in 2011, Yardi Matrix data shows. This first location, totaling 22,702 square feet, has an average occupancy rate of 97 percent.

Coworking has experienced continuous growth, with Miami ranking second by percentage of urban office spaces, with 3.1 percent. Earlier this week, Spaces expanded its Miami footprint by leasing three floors at a Class A, 28-story building.
