Radisson Collection Hotel Expands to Warsaw
Situated in the city center, the hotel will be transformed into a Radisson Collection Hotel. The property is scheduled to open in May.
Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its Radisson Collection brand to Warsaw. Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel Warsaw, a 311-key hotel, currently undergoing a rebranding, is set to open in May 2019. Radisson Hospitality AB will operate the property under an international management agreement.
Located in the center of the city, the property offers convenient access to Warsaw’s Financial Center and to the Rondo ONZ Tower. Various dining, shopping and entertainment venues including Roma Theater and the Jewish Ghetto are close to the hotel. Additionally, the Warsaw Chopin Airport is approximately 25 minutes away.
Upgrades will include a renovated lobby, lounge, open-plan communal areas and a restaurant venue. Common-area amenities include 24-hour room service, meeting and event rooms for more than 400 people, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, coffee shop, golf course, spa and business center.
“Having acquired the Radisson Blu Hotel building in 2017 with our partners WX Management Services, we’re delighted to be launching this comprehensive refurbishment, which is in line with our asset management strategy,” James Pennington, director at Europa Capital, said in a prepared statement. “These works will modernize the existing property and upgrade it to deliver Warsaw’s newest five-star hotel, right in the heart of Poland’s capital. Warsaw is a prime destination for business travelers and a growing number of tourists so, by working closely with Radisson Hotel Group, our ambition is to create a modern, fit-for-purpose hotel to match the city’s dynamism.”
Earlier this month, Radisson Hotels opened Park Inn by Radisson, a 171-key hotel in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
