Regus Renews at Zeller Realty Group’s Chicago-Area Asset
CBRE’s Bill Elwood and Rob Graham represented the landlord in the transaction while Kellen Monti of JLL worked on behalf of the tenant.
Regus has renewed its 36,215 square-foot lease at Woodfield Preserve Office Center in Schaumburg, Ill. The company has been a tenant at Zeller Realty Group’s office building since 2000, joining other firms such as IBM, Merrill Lynch, New York Life Insurance, and, more recently, Byline Bank and Assurance Agency. CBRE’s Executive Vice President Bill Elwood and Senior Vice President Rob Graham represented the landlord in the transaction while Vice President Kellen Monti of JLL worked on behalf of the tenant.
“We have seen a lot of great leasing momentum at the Woodfield Preserve, as new firms have decided to relocate here and long-term tenants are renewing for extended terms,” said Elwood in a prepared statement.
High-end amenities
The six-story property is located in a campus-like setting at 20 N. Martingale Road, providing almost 600,000 square feet of office space and 10,000 square feet of retail. It can be accessed via interstates 290 and 355 and sits close to the 2.3 million-square-foot Woodfield Mall.
According to Yardi Matrix data, ZRG acquired the asset from KBS Realty in 2016. Since then, the company has been upgrading its finishes as well as adding a number of amenities such as spec suite spaces. The property encompasses a fitness center, game rooms, conference centers, Wi-Fi lounges and full-service delis with catering services.
Throughout the year, tenants can participate in a number of activities hosted at the site including community yoga classes, organic gardening classes, painting parties and pop-up shops.
