Allen Morris Co. Arranges 56 KSF Lease at Upcoming Atlanta Mixed-Use

The Allen Morris Co. has arranged a new lease at Star Metals Offices, the office component of the upcoming mixed-use Star Metals Atlanta development. The IWG-owned Spaces signed to occupy 56,121 square feet, taking over the seventh and eighth floors, as well as a 5,642-square-foot ground-floor reception area and a private business club. 

“There is no more ideal tenant for Star Metals than Spaces,” said W. Allen Morris, chairman & CEO of The Allen Morris Co., in a prepared statement. “Our intent with Star Metals Offices, from concept forward, was to cater to innovative professionals, along with tech-savvy companies and individuals seeking a superior workplace to recruit and retain Atlanta’s most talented and competitive workforce.”

JLL’s Senior Managing Director Brannan Moss represented the tenant, while Managing Director Jeff Bellamy and Vice Presidents Brooke Dewey and Elizabeth Koteles, represented the landlord. 

Star Metals 

Located at 1055 Howell Mill Road, the Class A tower is slated to comprise 260,000 square feet across 14 stories. The property is set to include 25,000 square feet of high-ceiling retail on the ground level and a 5,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant and bar. Amenities will include:

• four levels of parking
• outdoor terraces
• tenant collaboration areas
• fitness center
• bike rack
• shower facilities
• rooftop restaurant 
• views of Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown 

Designed by Chad Oppenheim of Oppenheim Architecture and Warner Summers Architect firm, the project is scheduled to break ground this summer and is slated for completion by spring 2020. The 4.8-acre development will also include a luxury multifamily tower with 409 units, breaking ground this month.
