Research Organization Announces Expansion Plans in Charleston

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has already approved job development credits related to this project.

NCGS Inc. plans to expand its Charleston County presence by developing a new corporate headquarters. By the company’s estimates, the new construction is expected to bring $10 million of new capital investment and create 80 new jobs.

The research organization is currently conducting its operations at 288 Meeting St. in Charleston, S.C. The new headquarters will be located at 16 Charlotte St. in Charleston, S.C. and the hiring process for the new positions has already begun. The new building is slated for completion in the spring of 2017.

NCGS is a privately-held, international, full-service clinical research organization founded in 1984. The company specializes in conducting and managing clinical trials and focuses on areas of clinical development, such as oncology, infectious diseases and critical care.
